Overview
This simple yet elegant home on the edge of the New Forest is a low-impact, high-design residence that started life as a standard home development with only the basics. After converting the home, Amica brought to life the customers vision by creating powerful automation, beautiful lighting and even building a pub in the garden. This reflects the client’s desire for timeless design with a warm, lovable character.
Results
Energy use dropped by around 30% through the installation of active ventilation, extra low voltage 24VDC lighting throughout and energy strategies and high-efficiency systems. The owners say "I cannot imagine life here without it" and that "The AMICA Team’s experience and commitment to the project from beginning to end was exemplary and we would have no hesitation in recommending". Being asked to build the garden bar was a highlight for us on this project!
